05.10 Edit This 0 Comments » The Novel “Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan”, Inandra published 2008 by Agnes Davonar, which is true story tells about the struggle of a little girl to against vicious cancer. Keke 13, was a active teenager in junior high school. One day in the morning, when she woke up from her tight slept , her eyes became red and her nose bleeding. Keke’s father immediately asked her to go to the doctor for examined. Firstly she thought that it was just a flu and just exhausted after played volleyball but, she was wrong. The fact was she got vicious cancer. The cancer could have killed her for five days. His father didn’t tell about the cancer to Keke, he was afraid if Keke know that she must be operated and lost her left face. Day after day, in her face grew a clod as big as tennis ball and slowly became big as coconut. She was cried, but noone could tell what happen with her. She tried to live as a normal person, but the cancer maked her couldn’t do anything. Keke’s father tried so hard for Keke’s recovery. Keke’s friends also gave support and prayed for her. Her father never tired to try finding a way for recovery his daughter. After the hardly fight to find recovery, finally Keke died. Everybody who knows Keke became very sad. Keke has gave us something to learn.
Our characters face many important feeling dilemmas, for example, all of the characters in this novel felt so sad when knew about the cancer and, full of fighting to make Keke could like before. In this novel, the characters full of tears.
I like this novel “Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan”. I can get many learns from this story. I am very happy with Keke. She was a strong girl altought she knew that she got vicious cancer. She also tried to always cheerful, happy and tried to live as a normal person without cancer. She was a nice girl, in her school, every her friends loved her, she also was a smart girl. She never gave up to face the cancer until she left for good.
At the end of the story, Keke left all of people who loved her for good but, she has given lesson to us for learn. Many things that she has given. She never gave up to face the live. She accepts whatever that God gives. I hope many people want to learn from this story. I believe many people can be inspired from Keke’s life and from Keke’s fight for live.
